StayLocalRoom is a Nepal-based property rental marketplace that connects property owners with people looking for rooms, apartments, houses, hostels, offices, and commercial spaces. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StayLocalRoom website and related services (together, the "Platform").
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StayLocalRoom, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Eligibility

5. Property Listings
Property owners are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of listing information, including photos, descriptions, pricing, availability, location details, and contact information. StayLocalRoom may review listings before they are published. Listings that violate these Terms or our policies may be rejected, edited, suspended, or removed.
6. Property Search & Communication
Users may browse and search listings on the Platform and communicate directly with property owners using the contact details provided. StayLocalRoom does not participate in negotiations or rental agreements between users. You should independently verify all property details, terms, and conditions before making any rental decision.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to treat other users with respect and to use the Platform in good faith. You must not post misleading, illegal, fraudulent, offensive, harmful, or copyrighted content that you do not have the right to use. You are responsible for the information you share and for your communications with other users.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not use StayLocalRoom to create fake listings; send spam; run scams; impersonate others; attempt unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts; upload or distribute malicious code; abuse, harass, or exploit the Platform or its users; or otherwise attempt to deceive users or disrupt the service.
9. Intellectual Property
All website design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and software on the Platform belong to StayLocalRoom unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our intellectual property without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

11. Disclaimer
StayLocalRoom provides a technology platform that helps renters and property owners find and contact each other. StayLocalRoom does not own, inspect, manage, guarantee, or endorse listed properties. Property owners are responsible for their listings. Renters are responsible for inspecting properties and verifying information before entering into any agreement with an owner.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StayLocalRoom is not responsible for disputes, damages, financial losses, agreements, cancellations, or actions between users, or for any issues arising from property conditions, owner or renter conduct, or third-party communications. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
13. Suspension & Termination
StayLocalRoom may suspend or terminate accounts, or remove listings, that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable laws. We may also take action where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, the Platform, or the integrity of the marketplace.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
